Geriatrician Physician Opportunity at USA Health

USA Health, a leading healthcare provider in the Gulf Coast region, is seeking a board-certified Geriatrician to join our team as a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor. This role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining medical policies and procedures related to geriatric patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of medical policies and procedures related to geriatric patient care
  • Provide direction and supervision to related primary care providers
  • Participate in academic medicine, including teaching students, housestaff, and fellows
  • Contribute to the leadership and guidance of colleagues and providers in the local community

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Geriatric Fellowship program
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and BE/BC in Geriatrics
  • Ability to obtain a medical license/DEA for the state of Alabama
