Principal Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Architect to lead our architectural group and drive business development opportunities. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our architectural practice and contributing to the overall growth and success of K5 Company.

• Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of architects, designers, and project managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in mixed-use and residential architecture, developing and maintaining client relationships to secure new projects.
• Project Oversight and Execution: Actively participate in and lead architectural projects, ensuring high-quality design and execution, and managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Strategic Growth: Develop and implement strategies to expand K5 Company's market presence in mixed-use and residential architecture, staying abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Financial Management: Take responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the architectural group, developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the architectural practice.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect in either Florida or Michigan with a minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
• Proven track record in leading architectural projects, particularly in mixed-use and residential developments.
• Strong business development skills with the ability to identify and secure new opportunities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in managing P&L responsibilities and financial planning.
