Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Operation: Safely operate a triaxle truck and mobile scrap baler, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift safety inspections and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Customer Interaction: Professionally interact with customers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Department of Transportation (DOT), and company policies.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License: Possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial driver's license.
  • Safe Driving Record: Maintain a safe driving record and history.
  • Physical Abilities: Pass a company-paid Post Offer Pre-Hire screen (physical essential functions) test.
  • DOT Medical Card: Possess a valid DOT medical card or be able to obtain it before hire.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within a 3-hour/150-mile range from Pittsburgh.
