We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Systems Technician to join our team at Safe Harbor Marinas LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boats of all kinds.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and maintain boat systems, including electrical, plumbing, and water systems
- Repair and replace vessel components, including engines, propellers, and navigational equipment
- Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair complex marine systems
- Conduct thorough assessments prior to starting a job, including budgeting and sourcing parts
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Technical school training preferred
- 5 years' experience preferred
- ABYC certifications required (training provided as required); manufacturer certifications preferred
- Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
- Must carry own tools
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
