Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Systems Technician to join our team at Safe Harbor Marinas LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing boats of all kinds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain boat systems, including electrical, plumbing, and water systems
  • Repair and replace vessel components, including engines, propellers, and navigational equipment
  • Install and test sanitation and refrigeration systems, cabinetry, and electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex marine systems
  • Conduct thorough assessments prior to starting a job, including budgeting and sourcing parts
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Technical school training preferred
  • 5 years' experience preferred
  • ABYC certifications required (training provided as required); manufacturer certifications preferred
  • Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
  • Must carry own tools
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
