Overview

The Safety and Security Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding the premises, personnel, and assets of the organization. This position involves ensuring the safety and security of the work environment through diligent monitoring and enforcement of safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies following established protocols.
  • Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and manage visitor processing.
  • Prepare detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that occur.
  • Collaborate with management and law enforcement during emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in military, law enforcement, or security is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to obtain a State of Louisiana Unarmed Security Officer License.

Working Conditions
