Breakfast Attendant

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Springhill Suites Sugarland. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their breakfast experience is memorable and enjoyable.

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service, ensuring guests feel valued and appreciated
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows, building rapport with guests
• Be fully informed of continental breakfast options, making recommendations as needed
• Set up the Breakfast area for service, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere
• Stock all self-service areas with proper equipment and food items, maintaining a well-stocked and organized environment
• Maintain proper standards of sanitation and physical appearance of breakfast area, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Obtain food supplies from Food Storeroom, ensuring timely and efficient service
• Comply with all food safety and quality assurance standards, prioritizing guest safety and satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to hotel standards
• Complete prep work as required for next shift, breaking down the breakfast area and returning all unused items to their appropriate places
• Clean chairs and tables and floor, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere

• Professional demeanor and warm, welcoming personality
• Ability to engage easily and actively connect with others, building rapport and trust
• Genuine care and compassion for guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
• Clear and professional communication skills, able to converse with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Previous bartending experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to stand for long periods, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance
• Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps
