CNC Machinist Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Automatic Bar Controls Inc. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to utilize their expertise in operating and programming CNC machines, including lathes and Haas models.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components that meet our specifications. Key responsibilities include:

• Operating lathes, Haas machines, and other CNC equipment to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering specifications.
• Reviewing and analyzing engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure accurate machining and adherence to design specifications.
• Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Monitoring production progress, ensuring timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Ensuring adherence to machining best practices and safety protocols, continuously improving processes to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Working closely with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall efficiency.
• Tracking and controlling inventory levels of tools, materials, and supplies to support continuous machining operations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

• A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong emphasis on lathe and Haas machine operations.
• Keen ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce precise components.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.
