Davenport University Team Operations Coordinator

This position serves as a key support role to the department, encompassing a range of administrative tasks and responsibilities related to game management.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a strong ability to work accurately and effectively with computerized data systems.
Benefits of this role include a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
The Davenport University Team Operations Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Film games, video recording, editing, and providing highlights for the team.
- Tracking and monitoring team equipment distribution to players, including responsibility for all equipment and inventory.
- Setting up and breaking down for games.
- Generating team statistics reports for coaches.
- Coordinating travel, including hotel, restaurant, game, and practice sites.
- Handling team laundry.
- Maintaining and updating files and record-keeping systems.
- Creating reports, memorandums, correspondence, presentation materials, spreadsheets, and graphics using various software programs.
- Distributing incoming mail and faxes.
- Copying and collating documents.
- Assembling informational packets.
- Assisting with special events and functions as needed.
- Greeting visitors and handling incoming calls.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Handling documents and maintaining confidentiality.
- Conducting special projects, research, and assignments as assigned.
- Providing exceptional customer service and promoting the University's cultural values.
- Understanding and adhering to external and internal regulations and policies, including NCAA, GLIAC, and national affiliations.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Enrollment in a minimum of 6 credit hours and meeting academic progress standards.
- Experience in an office setting is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work accurately and effectively with computerized data systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and promote a positive working environment.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated motivational and problem-solving capabilities.
- A business office environment with prolonged sitting and standing, use of a personal computer and telephone, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
