HVAC Supervisor Job Description

Elwyn is seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including installation of new equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) in accordance with established schedules
  • Communicate with maintenance staff and supervisors regarding facilities maintenance issues
  • Arrange work orders and prioritize tasks as needed
  • Maintain EPA refrigerant logs and update systems information in the computer database
  • Provide back-up coverage for maintenance supervisors and respond to after-hours requests
Requirements:
  • Five years' experience as a technician in the HVAC service industry
  • One year of experience providing supervision preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of relevant computer systems related to the field
  • Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
  • Excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills
