Job Overview

Shift Availability: 7AM-7PM OR 7PM-7AM

Work Schedule: 2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on with 12-hour shifts.

Position Summary: Can-One is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to enhance our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and upkeep of electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures within our facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in various structures.
  • Set up conduits and pipes to accommodate electrical wires and cables.
  • Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical codes.
  • Install circuit breakers and other electrical components, connecting wiring as needed.
  • Link electrical systems to power sources to ensure operational functionality.
  • Conduct tests on electrical systems to verify proper installation and performance.
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify any necessary repairs.
  • Replace conduits and wiring as required.
  • Replace circuit breakers as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and possession of a valid electrician's license is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Skilled in using test meters and other diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Must have the ability to distinguish colors for color-coded wiring.
  • Physical capability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
  • Must be able to pull wires and cables through conduits effectively.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
