Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting specimens from patients in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect blood specimens from patients according to established procedures.
  2. Administer oral solutions as required.
  3. Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems.
  4. Enter data accurately into computer systems.
  5. Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, and preparing for transport.
  6. Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory and sanitizing.
  7. Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
