Marker Maker

We are seeking a skilled Marker Maker to join our team. As a key member of our Cutting department, you will be responsible for creating marker files, communicating with the Cutting department, and collaborating with the Planning manager to ensure efficient production.

• Create accurate and detailed marker files using Optitex Software
• Communicate order information to the Cutting department in a clear and timely manner
• Collaborate with the Planning manager to schedule production and estimate timelines
• Maintain organized storage of marker files and ensure easy access for the team
• Convert Optitex marker files to Gerber cutting files, with training provided
• Assist the Development team in verifying material usage and ensuring accuracy

• Minimum 1+2 years of experience in marker making in manufacturing, with a preference for apparel manufacturing
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt
• Self-motivated and able to set deadlines and meet goals, with a focus on efficiency and clarity
