Acute Care Nephrology Nurse MS Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Care Nephrology Nurse MS to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

About the Role

This is a 24-bed acute care unit that specializes in caring for patients with chronic and acute illnesses, with a heavy focus on renal disease. Our dialysis suites are also located on this floor, and we work closely with other department leaders to create a great foundation for all specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
  • Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
Requirements
