Key Responsibilities
  1. Tool Room Management: Maintain control of the tool room, including issuing and receiving tools, PPE, parts, and supplies to production personnel. Resolve any issues that may arise.
  2. Tool Identification and Inspection: Mark and identify tools and equipment, inspecting them regularly, including electrical tools. Perform minor repairs, services, and lubricate tools and equipment as needed. Report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  3. Tool Program Enforcement: Ensure the tool program is enforced throughout the facility, and all tools, equipment, and supplies are accounted for using the tool and equipment asset control database.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor consumable assets and inventory material programs, ensuring adequate resources are available to support production operations.
  5. Calibration and HazMat Management: Oversee the calibration recall program and gauge calibration, as well as manage the requisitioning and storage of hazardous materials.
Requirements
  1. Computer Skills: Possess basic to intermediate computer skills, specifically using Microsoft Office.
  2. Document Interpretation: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, federal and state regulations, procedure manuals, hazardous waste and storage regulations.
  3. Communication: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  4. Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables and situations.
  5. Customer Service: Very strong customer service skills.
