About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a critical member of our logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our products to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing prompt and courteous service to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Unload products with a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Perform manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds, as needed.
  • Make frequent stops during a work shift, as required.
  • Deliver product in inclement weather conditions, as needed.
  • Verify delivery of items with customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect payment (cash or checks) from customers, as required.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid CDL A issued by the state of legal residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualified.
  • Minimum six months of commercial truck driving experience or three months of food service or food and beverage truck delivery experience required.
  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift, required.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift), required.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission, preferred.
