Position Details
- Compensation: $27 - $28 per hour
Benefits Include:
- PTO: Accumulate one week of paid time off after one year, two weeks after three years, and three weeks after five years.
- Sick Leave: Earn one hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked from day one, with a maximum of 48 hours per year. Unused hours carry over annually.
- Insurance: Eligibility for full benefits after 90 days of employment, with a monthly contribution of $200 towards your chosen medical plan, including a complimentary $10,000 life insurance policy.
- Additional Coverage: Tailor your benefits with options for extra life insurance, disability, dental, and vision plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for each patient.
- Take and process precise digital X-rays, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments in accordance with established infection control standards.
- Greet patients, gather their medical history, and prepare them for treatment.
- Maintain accurate and current patient records, including treatment charts and consent forms.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and reminders.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, infection control measures, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
- Prior experience as a dental assistant is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental procedures, instruments, and terminology.
- Skilled in taking and processing digital dental X-rays.
- Experience with dental software and appointment scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Understanding of infection control protocols and safety procedures.
