Tribal Home Visitor

Under the direction of the Director, the incumbent provides essential services to clients in their homes, alternative locations, or virtually. This role is responsible for delivering support, guidance, and resources to families in the Tribal community, promoting effective and safe parenting practices.

• Provide tailored services to individual clients, focusing on parenting and child abuse prevention.
• Offer child behavior management, establish family structure, and facilitate parent-child interaction sessions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized plans, promoting positive outcomes.
• Transport clients using agency vehicles and travel to meetings and trainings as required.

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
• Two years of experience in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with urban Native communities or experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native families.

• Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
