POSITION SUMMARY

The Staff Pharmacist will oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while delivering top-notch service to our clientele. This role includes supervising pharmacy technicians and interns, as well as providing expert consultation to customers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage the filling of prescriptions in accordance with legal and company standards, including verifying product accuracy and conducting final audits.
  2. Provide professional advice on prescription and health-related inquiries, maintaining a courteous and knowledgeable demeanor.
  3. Ensure compliance with billing and dispensing procedures under applicable guidelines.
  4. Participate in clinical programs and maintain proficiency in pharmacy practices.
  5. Conduct monthly audits and maintain accurate records for controlled substances.
  6. Train and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  7. Maintain inventory levels and ensure the pharmacy is organized and well-stocked.
  8. Adhere to company policies and uphold professional standards in all interactions.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

Employees may be exposed to various chemicals and pathogens typical in a pharmacy setting.


QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess a degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD), pass the NAPLEX and State Law Board exams, and hold a valid state license. Continuing education as mandated by law is also required.
