Job Summary:

Essentia Health seeks a skilled Ambulatory Care Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting. The ideal candidate will assist RNs, physicians, and other providers in delivering high-quality patient care, contributing to the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

Responsibilities include performing identified procedures, caring for patients of various ages, and maintaining licensure and certification requirements. The successful candidate will be BCLS certified and able to obtain certification within three months.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the appropriate state
  • Registration or certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification within one year of hire

Work Environment:

The Ambulatory Care Nurse Assistant will work in the Superior Clinic, rotating through day shifts. The position requires 64 hours per pay period and offers a competitive compensation range of $28.56 per hour.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting
  • Assist RNs, physicians, and other providers in delivering patient care
  • Maintain licensure and certification requirements
