Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Server is to cater to the service needs of club members and guests in dining and restaurant areas, ensuring a courteous and professional experience in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

The essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Taking, preparing, and delivering food and beverage orders to customers.
  2. Inputting patrons' orders into the system, verifying accuracy, and processing payments.
  3. Maintaining cleanliness of tables and the overall dining environment.
  4. Assisting kitchen staff with food preparation as needed.
  5. Ensuring that the server station and bar area are well-stocked and tidy.
  6. Participating in Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adhering to relevant policies.
  7. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor, following the club's dress code.
  8. Exhibiting a commitment to the success of the company through positive interactions and adherence to customer service standards.
  9. Completing additional tasks as directed by management.
  10. Demonstrating regular and punctual attendance for all scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  1. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Strong verbal communication skills.
  3. Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  4. Capability to obtain a food handler's permit or certification.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  1. Prior experience in the food service industry.
  2. Certification as a Food Handler or equivalent.
  3. Completion of Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco training.

Physical Requirements

The role involves:

  • Visual and auditory abilities to read documents, use a computer, and communicate effectively.
  • Standing and walking for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Occasional climbing, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Using hands for typing, writing, and handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing over 25 pounds occasionally.
