Piedmont Walton Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician PRN to join our team. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician PRN, you will be responsible for providing continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias.
  • Identify and troubleshoot monitoring problems, and seek solutions to correct the issue.
  • Maintain inventories, supplies, hardware, and telemetry transmitters in working condition.
  • Report malfunctions promptly as applicable.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • No minimum experience required.
  • No minimum licensure/certification required by law.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of cardiac rhythms/basic EKG interpretation.
  • Certification as a Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT) or Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT).
