Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needs and provide estimates for additional repairs
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • One year or more of experience in basic car care (helpful but not necessary)
  • A customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long-term trust and relationships with our customers
  • Willingness to work Saturdays
