Job Title: Professional Land Surveyor

Job Summary:

Luxus is seeking a highly skilled Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our surveying department, you will be responsible for conducting surveys, creating maps, and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting
• Project Management to include schedule, budget, personnel, and resources
• Business development and relationship management for public and private clients
• Coordination and supervision of multiple crews and survey CAD technicians on day-to-day operations
• Perform other work as directed including assisting survey manager with estimates and proposals, preparing field packets, and compiling deliverables in CAD
• Creation of boundary, topographic, and easement maps
• Assist engineering & surveying management with requested assignments

Requirements:

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) required. North Carolina and/or South Carolina PLS license are preferred
• Must have experience building business relationships with current and potential clients
• Must have experience with Easement/ Right-of Way Surveys, Plats, ALTAs, boundaries, property descriptions and topographic survey
• Experience with CAD and survey computation software including Civil3D, Carlson Survey and Trimble Business Center
• Field experience operating survey equipment (GPS, Total Station, Scan Station, sUAS)
