Join Southern Dental Alliance as an Orthodontist and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in examining, diagnosing, and treating dental malocclusions and oral cavity anomalies. As a key member of our team, you will design and fabricate appliances to realign teeth and jaws, ensuring normal function and improving appearance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Examine patients to assess abnormalities of jaw development, tooth position, and other dental-facial structures
* Diagnose dental conditions and teeth and jaw or other dental-facial abnormalities
* Adjust dental appliances to produce and maintain normal function
* Coordinate orthodontic services with other dental and medical services

**Requirements:**

* DDS or DMD degree, licensed in state in which practicing or have the ability to obtain licensure upon graduation
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate
* Completion of a general practice residency (GPR) or advanced education general dentistry residency (AEGD) preferred
* American Board of General Dentistry, American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, etc. (if applicable)
* Current DEA Certificate (Drug Enforcement Administration) registered in state in which you are practicing For South Carolina a CDS Certificate (Controlled Dangerous Substance) is required to obtain a DEA
* 2-year orthodontic residency
* American Board of Orthodontic
