Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust solutions to enhance the organizational email infrastructure, collaborating with technical support teams to resolve incidents and system administration challenges.
  • Utilize problem management systems to drive process improvements and ensure seamless integration across systems.
  • Conduct regular operations management and preventative maintenance, including proactive monitoring and scheduled system checks.
  • Apply your knowledge of MS Exchange Servers, MS Office 365, and MS Azure to maintain optimal functionality and compliance of the email infrastructure.
  • Analyze technical communications related to email services supporting a vast number of inboxes.
  • Engage in technical change review meetings to assess potential impacts on email services and provide valuable insights.
  • Lead sessions with global Subject Matter Experts to evaluate service performance, delegate tasks, and address escalation issues effectively.
  • Ensure that email services operate within established Service Level Agreements.
  • Test and deploy new features and updates in controlled environments to validate concepts.
  • Conduct review cycles of messaging services to identify and eliminate technical challenges.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the MS Exchange suite of products.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in roles such as Messaging Engineer or Messaging Analyst.

Essential skills include:

  • Expertise in messaging and collaboration product stacks, including MS 365 Cloud Productivity Suite and MS Exchange Server.
  • Experience in technology design and engineering to modernize email services and enhance collaboration.
  • Proficient in planning and deploying messaging solutions aligned with organizational technology roadmaps.
  • Ability to configure and maintain lab infrastructure for testing and development purposes.
  • Experience in solution delivery and defect management processes.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for workflow automation.
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders to ensure effective email service design and implementation.
