About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for their client in the Midtown Atlanta area. This role will be responsible for processing bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for approximately 8200 employees using an outside payroll vendor (ADP) on a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automated systems, including report writing tools, and experience with ADP Workforce now preferred.

  • This position involves receiving and processing payroll change information from local offices and online Human Resource systems.
  • The successful candidate will also audit information for completeness and take appropriate action where needed.
  • They will receive and accurately import bi-weekly time sheets, compile and input change and pay data to ADP, transmit payroll data for bi-weekly and special payment payrolls, and download/save all payroll reports generated by ADP.
Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing with automated systems, including report writing tools.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce now is preferred but not necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel is required.
  • An associates degree or comparable knowledge in a payroll-related field is also required.
