Job Title: Coating Technician

Schedule: 8am-5pm

Reports To: Plant Manager

General Job Overview:

• Prepare surfaces for coating by performing necessary cleaning and masking procedures.
• Utilize tools effectively to ready surfaces for coating application.
• Apply coating materials using specialized equipment to ensure optimal results.
• Ensure uniform coverage and proper adhesion of the coating material.
• Monitor and modify equipment settings to achieve the desired finish.
• Adhere to safety protocols while maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Previous experience in coating applications is preferred.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated professional attributes including initiative, integrity, and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to interpret safety guidelines, method sheets, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Work environment may involve exposure to manufacturing areas requiring personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and respirators.
