Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technical Specialist to join our team at eTeam. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of moderately complex duties within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with first-level troubleshooting and implementing corrective action and process improvement as necessary.
  • Perform a variety of moderately complex duties within a manufacturing environment, including manual hand soldering and automated equipment operation.
  • Work with very small parts using a microscope and utilize automated equipment to remove PCB surface mount parts.
  • Build Surface Mount PCBs from drawings and schematics, and ensure quality control standards are met.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production demands and business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years PCB assembly and repair experience, including manual hand soldering and automated equipment operation.
  • Strong soldering skills using leaded and lead-free solder wire and solder pastes.
  • Ability to work with very small parts using a microscope and utilize automated equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Printed Circuit Board workmanship criteria and standards.
  • Ability to professionally interact with all team members and prioritize workload with minimal direction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, and 5S.
  • Ability to be flexible and exhibit strong teamwork ethics to meet business objectives and department goals.
