Job Summary

2 Circle, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to provide specialized customer-focused system engineering, requirements definition, operational analysis, technology development, and program management support to Department of Defense requirements staffs, acquisition communities, S&T organizations, and commercial partners to solve mission-critical problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide program, systems engineering, and acquisition support to government team leads.
  • Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical data relating to weapons systems acquisitions projects.
  • Engage with programs to assess performance-to-plan and technical risks.
  • Track program/project status and schedules.
  • Perform analysis of project status and generate high-quality technical reports and presentations.
  • Communicate with government team counterparts.
Requirements
  • BS in a relevant Engineering/Science field.
  • 6 years of experience in a relevant Engineering/Science field.
  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, report, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
  • Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical efforts associated with all program phases of product development.
  • Technical depth and breadth in an Engineering discipline.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multiple security environment.
  • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Experience with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process.
  • Experience with DoD Risk and Opportunity management process.
