Financial Analyst Job Description

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our North America Commercial Risk Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with finance partners across North America to consolidate various reporting sources and data streams, driving actionable analysis that informs business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with FP&A team members to provide accurate and timely reporting as requested.
  • Partner with FP&A leaders to provide presentations of consolidated data with actionable insights and trends, helping to formulate strategies to drive improved financial results.
  • Perform in-depth reviews and evaluations of monthly actual financial performance against forecast and prior year via commentaries and presentations.
  • Gather data from business teams and financial databases to create monthly and annual revenue and expense projections.
  • Assist with the annual budgeting processes, including consolidating regional and solution line data.
  • Collaborate with offshore finance resources and liaise with business, operations, controllership, and Centers of Excellence where necessary.
  • Respond to internal ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1+ years of experience desired, with FP&A experience (Forecasting, Planning, and Analysis) being a plus.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience in Workday GL and TM1 a plus.
