About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traveling Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ConvenientMD. As a Traveling Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including urgent care clinics in Southern Maine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessing patient health, determining abnormal conditions, and performing therapeutic procedures.
  • Clinic Effectiveness: Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to efficiently treat patients and plan coordinated dispositions.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and complete medical records, adhere to infection-control policies, and comply with legal and professional requirements.
  • Continuing Education & Mentorship: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, and act as a preceptor to new provider staff.
  • Leadership, Teamwork, & Flexibility: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, and be flexible in scheduling to accommodate varying shifts at each location.
Requirements
  • Education, Licensure, & Certifications: Master's degree, certification by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body, DEA license with no restrictions, and BLS certification.
  • Relevant Experience: Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care setting preferred.
  • Excellent Team Player: Enjoy collaborating with others and being part of a strong team dynamic.
  • Proactive and Confident Communicator: Foreshadow and elevate concerns as they arise, and be unafraid of professional directness with colleagues and patients.
