Job Title: Algebra Tutor

SiSTEM Tutoring Agency is a leading provider of personalized tutoring services, dedicated to empowering students of all ages through education. We are seeking experienced and passionate tutors to join our team and provide high-quality instruction to students in Algebra.

Job Summary:

We are looking for tutors who can provide one-on-one instruction to students, fostering their academic growth and understanding in Algebra. As a SiSTEM tutor, you will work with students to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized learning plans to help them succeed.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person tutoring sessions for students struggling with Algebra
  • Prepare students for exams, assignments, and standardized tests
  • Track student progress and regularly communicate with parents or guardians (for K-12 students)
  • Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages growth
  • Align sessions with academic curricula and educational standards
Qualifications:
  • MUST BE eligible to work in the United States of America and have a valid Social Security Number
  • MUST be able to pass a background check
  • MUST HAVE your own computer and be technologically savvy (email, texting, etc.)
  • MUST HAVE proven experience tutoring or teaching in the subject of your choice across various academic levels
Requirements:
  • A college student with at least 60 hours of credit hours
  • A college graduate (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral degree holder)
  • A certified teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification
  • A retired teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification
  • Skilled in English (All grade levels are welcome to apply)
