Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Lead

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist Lead to join our team at Grosse Pointe Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
  • Acquire accurate patient histories and document in the medical record.
  • Monitor patients during procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow policy for malfunctions or quality control failures.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
  • Provide procedural information and education to patients prior to exams.
  • Contribute to department operations by assisting colleagues and maintaining quality assurance and control.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross.
