Job Summary:

As a Field Geophysicist at Terracon, you will play a critical role in conducting comprehensive geophysical surveys to support various investigations, including geologic, groundwater, environmental, engineering, and materials testing. Your expertise will be essential in defining survey objectives, designing approaches, analyzing data, and providing interpretations of results. These findings will be integrated into the planning, design, and construction of vital infrastructure, environmental assessments, and earth resource evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geophysical surveys from the ground surface and boreholes to provide images or models of subsurface conditions.
• Develop and implement geophysical survey approaches to meet project objectives.
• Analyze and interpret geophysical data to provide accurate and reliable results.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate geophysical findings into project planning and design.
• Participate in pre-task planning and report any safety issues or concerns to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
• Certification in field of expertise based on state-specific requirements.
