Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Overview:
Fast Pace Health is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using X-Ray equipment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping us provide exceptional patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering quality healthcare services in rural communities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Perform nursing duties, including measuring and recording patients' vital signs, drawing blood, administering injections, and performing clinical tasks.
- Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, and taking necessary action.
- Operate or oversee the operation of X-Ray equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during X-Ray scans.
- Ensure imaging equipment is in proper operating condition and prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
- Assist patients using a Virtual Medicine Provider and ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting, preferably Urgent Care.
- Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
- Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
