Role Overview

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate measurement of natural gas, supporting the development of technical documentation, and providing ongoing technical support for project activities within areas such as Operations, Maintenance, testing/diagnostics & Regulatory.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Natural Gas Measurement: Manages the random sample meter testing programs, ensuring compliance with company standards and tariffs.
  2. Program Management: Oversees programs for piloting new meter and electronic module types/technologies, responsible for approval/acceptance of those new materials, and works with regulatory bodies to update tariffs accordingly.
  3. Design and Sizing: Designs and sizes large meter sets, orders large non-rotary meters, and trains field personnel on properly reading and calibrating meters, replacing meter indexes, and installing AMR/AMI communication modules.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency), at least 2 years of relevant engineering experience, and demonstrated broad knowledge & proficiency in specialty area, knowledge of related specialties, & general knowledge of other related disciplines.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency).

  • EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) strongly preferred.
