Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in echocardiography and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures
  • Obtain and review patient medical history and examination data
  • Assess patient condition and determine the need for further testing or treatment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or accredited Cardiovascular Technology program
  • Registered Medical Sonographer or Reg Cardiac Sonographer - CCI certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association certification
  • Minimum 1 year experience in echocardiography
