We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Blue Ridge Health. This is a PRN opportunity with flexible scheduling, requiring 2 weekdays per week.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $140,000, based on the location and industry standards.

This role involves preparing medications, providing pharmacological information to healthcare teams, and monitoring patient drug therapies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with pharmacist manager by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing subordinate employees.
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence relative to the work.
  • Consult with physicians on drug use, characteristics, and effects.
  • Maintain custody and control of narcotics.
  • Recognize physical, chemical, and therapeutic incompatibilities.
  • Monitor and analyze patient health related to administered drugs.

Requirements:

  • BS Pharmacy degree.
  • Appropriate licensure in North Carolina.
