Salary and BenefitsThe Licensed Practical Nurse position at Walden offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Job DescriptionAs a Licensed Practical Nurse at Walden, you will be responsible for administering medications under the supervision of the charge nurse, nurse manager, or nursing supervisor. You will provide care to patients with eating disorders, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your duties will include:
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting all relevant information
- Assessing vital signs and reporting abnormalities to the physician
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments using correct methods of administration
- Evaluating and documenting patient response to medication regimen
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital setting
- A Massachusetts LPN license
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships, and age-specific growth and development
- Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize independently
