Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for seeing patients in the outpatient clinic full time Monday-Friday, with some limited opportunity for patient care in the hospital setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to Gastroenterology patients under the supervision of a Physician
  • Participate in education development and growth of Dignity Health Medical Group's Gastroenterology Division
  • Work closely with the administrative and clinical directors for the GI Service Program to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in provision of clinical services
Requirements:

PA Requirements:

  • Degree as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

NP Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
  • Compact state or Arizona RN license
  • Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
  • Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC
  • Valid DEA registration
  • Meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
Salary:
$57.41 - $68.87 /hour.
