Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Rehabilitation Specialist to join our esteemed team. This role is part-time and primarily during the day shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts thorough assessments using techniques tailored to each patient's diagnosis and formulates personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Ensures meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, interim reports, and discharge summaries, adhering to departmental timelines.
  • Engages in mentoring and training of clinical support staff, new professionals, and students/volunteers in patient care practices.
  • Contributes to the development and execution of departmental performance enhancement initiatives.
  • Involved in the formulation and implementation of clinical program advancements.
  • Completes essential physical therapy competencies alongside department-specific requirements.
  • Meets productivity standards corresponding to the level of care and employment status.
  • Utilizes support staff and resources in accordance with departmental guidelines.
  • Takes responsibility for assigned tasks and performs additional duties as required.
  • Communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating active listening and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborates with supervisors, colleagues, and various departments, showcasing our commitment to exceptional service.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in Physical Therapy in the state.
  • CPR certification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions and established protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
