Overview

The Hinsdale Central School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Bus Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely transporting students, staff, and others to and from school, neighborhoods, and field trips.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a school bus on designated routes, following established schedules and loading/unloading passengers at designated locations. Inspect the bus daily to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any mechanical issues or accidents. Maintain accurate records of your route and activities. Transport students, teachers, and others on school field or activity trips as needed.

Requirements

A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a Passenger and School Bus endorsement, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior experience working as a bus driver, preferably in a school district or transporting children, are required for this role. The salary range for this position is $17.00-$20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
