Hospitalist Opportunity in Northeast Utah
This Permanent Hospitalist role (Internal Medicine or Family Practice) offers a unique schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, managing a patient load of 5-12+ individuals during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
During the on-call week, the physician will primarily handle phone consultations and will not be required to be present on the hospital premises unless a patient needs to be seen in person. The scope of procedures includes ventilator management, standard ICU patient care, intubations, central line placements, as well as pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures. The patient demographic is typical, with no complex trauma cases involved.
Candidate Requirements: All applicants must be residents of the United States to qualify. New Residents, Fellows, or practicing physicians are encouraged to apply. Candidates should be Board Certified (B/C) or Board Eligible (B/E) if they are coming directly from training.
Compensation and Benefits: The compensation package for this position is competitive, with an income in the range of $220,000, complemented by a substantial signing bonus of $50,000, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
