Medication Care Manager Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Medication Care Manager to join our team. As a Medication Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
  • Document medication administration and provide resident care while adhering to Sunrise Senior Living's Mission and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure accurate medication administration.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by following infection control techniques and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on Sunrise Senior Living's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents.
  • Ability to react calmly in difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
