Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create site plans and lot fits using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with the New Home Starts department to ensure site plans meet design standards and community guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current design standards, code, and community guidelines.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of all drawings and site plans.
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods and AutoCAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural language and residential construction.
  • Ability to read blueprints, surveys, and Metes & Bounds descriptions.
  • Experience in civil drafting a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic math skills, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
