Research Scientist

Job Summary

As a Research Scientist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, you will be responsible for preparing plans of experiments designed by project leaders and entering experimental data for statistical analysis. This role involves field and laboratory work with field crops, collection of data, and maintenance of accurate records of assigned duties. You will also be responsible for generating data slides, poster displays, and scientific reports, as well as handling agricultural chemicals.

Requirements

• Experience preparing well-designed displays, posters, visual aids, and reports of scientific data
• M.S. degree in Life Sciences or equivalent related experience
