The Bon Secours Mercy Health Heart Surgery program is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) to collaborate with Cardiac Surgeons in the care of heart surgery patients. The comprehensive program currently performs 750-800 cases per year, utilizing advanced technology and techniques in a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage the daily care of inpatients, including rounds, assessment, progress notes, and ordering.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary services that support the service line.
  • Perform admissions, consults, and discharges for the service line.
  • Remove devices, including chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and IABPs, and manage post-op follow-up visits and surgical consults.
