Job Description

DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview is seeking a skilled Night Auditor to join our team. As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's front desk operations during overnight shifts. This role combines guest service with accounting duties, ensuring smooth and accurate operations while maintaining a secure environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Handle check-ins and check-outs, answer customer inquiries, manage bookings, and process payments during the night shift.
  • Financial Operations: Perform end-of-day audits to reconcile hotel accounts, including verifying and balancing cash drawers and credit card transactions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and generate reports for management, including revenue reports, occupancy statistics, and other financial summaries.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with day shift staff to ensure smooth handovers and address any ongoing issues.
  • Security and Maintenance: Monitor hotel security, ensuring that safety protocols are followed and addressing any issues that arise during the night. Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department and ensure that urgent matters are addressed promptly.
  • Valet Services: Assist with valet services as needed, including managing vehicle keys, coordinating with valet staff, and ensuring prompt and efficient handling of guest vehicles.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain front desk procedures that are cohesive with Hilton Quality Assurance standards, ensuring adherence to best practices and consistent service quality.
  • Adherence to Policies: Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, key control, and guest confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred. Experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar position is a plus.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Windows, Office, and property management systems is highly desirable. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write basic English.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and professional instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle financial transactions accurately.
  • Availability: Must be available to work overnight shifts and weekends as required.
  • Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the USA.
