We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Unit at The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center.

Estimated salary range is $83,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience. This position offers a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.

Job Summary

This full-time RN role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced CVICU environment. As a critical care nurse, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current RN license in the state of New Mexico.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
