About the Opportunity

This Behavioral Health Professional role is situated within a correctional setting, where the successful candidate will deliver psychiatric services to inmates. Key responsibilities include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Main Duties
  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide consultation and education to mental health staff on complex cases.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records.
Requirements

We seek candidates with:

  • A Doctorate in Psychiatry.
  • Substantial experience in delivering psychiatric services to adults.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the relevant state.
  • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
  • CPR certification.
